REALLY???

Who is this guy?  And who wears red?  Really now!

Something's Happening

I tell you.  After you hit one, time starts to fly!
Something odd is happening, and my Mommy and Daddy keep talking about this Santa fellow and how we "need" to put a tree in the house.  So we went hunting.  This was us (Papa came with us too) as we celebrated our successful tree hunt.  Afterward, we did this crazy thing and brought that live tree into the house.  It takes up a big chunk of my play space!  What crazy thing is about to happen?

In a pickle

Sometimes, I get myself into a pickle.
Notice that when I get in trouble, what does Mommy do?  Does she help me?  NO!  She goes and gets the camera!  Seriously, lady, I could use a little help over here!

Today the tables were turned.  Mommy found herself in a pickle.  It all started when she set up my tent and tunnel.  Then her and Daddy started debating whether they could fit in the tunnel.  How silly.   Next thing you know...

Notice that I RUSHED to offer assistance.  Unlike some people I know.

More posts soon - I have a sinking suspicion Mom is going to dress me up like an idiot this weekend.

Sicky Sick

The other notable event in October is that I got sick.  I've never been sick before.  You know what?  It stinks!  I had a fever and felt yuck-o!

I was supposed to go to another tailgate party in Ann Arbor, but I was too sick.  :(  Instead I just stopped by quick to say hi to our friends.
But I could only muster a smile for so long
I even had to sleep with Mommy and Daddy

Luckily I got better and I'm back to my old self!

A Day at the Apple Orchard

I got to go to the apple orchard with Mom, Dad and Papa!

We saw them making cider.  I should go to work there.  I'm very VERY good at mashing up food.
Daddy and I both enjoy donuts

We went on a hayride, then mom plopped me on the ground in the middle of a bunch of pumpkins.  It was cold, rainy, and I was quite sleepy.  And she plops me in the middle of a bunch of pumpkins.  I wasn't very impressed.  I wonder if I can get that hayride guy to come back...

Maybe these are cool...

Nah...I'm over this.  I wonder if there are more donuts?

I like to play with Papa's hat
But I was just so sleepy

When in doubt, climb on Mommy

There was also video from this day, but my *video editor* is slacking off again.  I may have to fire her...

Go BLUE!

I got to go to a tailgate in Ann Arbor!!!

Uncle Brad went with us!

Uncle Jimmy was at the party too!

Daddy had fun too

Put me in, Coach!  I'm an excellent ball handler!

The rest of September

What a crazy month it was!  Birthdays and block parties and fun - OH MY!  And that was only the first half!

I helped Daddy with some projects.  "I think the socket wrench is the way to go..."

I got a bike from my Aunt Laurie.  I love to ride it.  Vroom vroom!

I went to the doctor, but you know what?  I wasn't scared.
I played in my room

Then you won't believe what happened....Mom came after me with the scissors!

I watched boys play tennis! played at the park

I ate blueberry pancakes

Of course I brushed my teeth

And I went to a tailgate party at the high school with Grandpa

Happy Birthday to ME!

September 14, 2010

That day Mom, Dad and I went downtown and walked along the Detroit River.

Morty came too

I was just starting to be able to stand up

We went out to lunch, I got a french fry.

At home I played with my birthday balloon
And called it a day.  It was such a fun day with my Mom and Dad.

Busy Busy Busy!

Wow - I've been so very busy, I forgot to blog! That is quite irresponsible of me!

So where did we leave off? It was August! At the end of August, I went to an Ice Cream Social at Grandpa's church. I tried ice cream, and I have to say - I didn't care for it. I really wanted to play in the bounce house, but mom said "no." She's a party pooper.

September started with a BANG!  This is so exciting!  Mom and I went downtown to meet Daddy and some friends at Cheli's Chili.  It's owned by a hockey player named Chris Chelios, who is my absolute most favoritist player of all time!  And I think Mommy sort of likes him, too - *winkwink*  So we park and are walking in and - lo and behold - guess who was sitting outside?!?!?  Yep - that's me with Chris Chelios!!!

We went to my first Beaufait block party!  Last year I was in Mommy's tummy!  It rained, so we stayed in Mr. Wilson's garage, but it was still fun.

Party Time!

Guess what?  You know how every month Mom takes my picture with a piece of paper next to me?  On the 12th one, it gets SO MUCH BETTER!  You get a PARTY!  With balloons and cake and friends!  And toys that are WRAPPED UP IN PAPER!  PAPER!  I'm the luckiest girl in the world!

Here's my Dad and Papa, and the balloons!  The color scheme was pink and green.  Isn't it great that my favorite colors are also Mommy's favorite colors?

I like balloons!

Here's my cake

I got a separate cake just for me. Here's what I thought:

A toy, hrm....I guess that's pretty neat
oh wow - a bow!

OH MY GOODNESS - PAPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All of my favorite people were there - here's Aunt Sylvia, Papa, Grandma, Uncle Bob and Uncle Jeff
It was a really great day.
