Let me introduce myself

Hi! I'm Christina!

I'm 3 and 1/2 months old, and Mommy said it's time I got to work on my blog!

A little background - I was born on September 14...

WAIT! Let me back up and tell you a little about my mom and dad and how I came to be.

My mom is Debbie. She was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. She went to University of Michigan (M! GO BLUE!), then Indiana University for law school. She's lived all over the place - London, Chicago, DC - but came back to Michigan, and it looks like she's staying. She was a lawyer, but stopped working in 2008 and had ME! She met Daddy in 2006 through work.

My daddy is Al. He was born in East Detroit (not Eastpointe) MI. He went to Northerm Michigan University (brrrrrr! It's cold up there!), and now he works for a hospital in Detroit.

They got married in 2008. Aren't they cute?

On January 14, 2009, mom and dad found out they were going to have a baby (ME!). They were so excited. :) In February, they had an ultrasound, and it was after that that everyone started calling me Homer. Why Homer? I don't know, ask their friend Jack, it was his idea. So for 7 months they called me Homer. Do I look like a Homer!?!?!

I don't think so!
Anyhow...after 7 months of being called Homer, I had to make an appearance and straighten this out! I was supposed to come on September 16, but I was antsy. So mom and dad went to the hospital early in the morning on September 14, and after 13 1/2 hours of labor, I finally came out. I'm so worth it!

My name is Christina Pauline. I weighed 7 lb, 9 oz at birth and was 19.5 inches long. I have lots of hair - more than Daddy! I'm named after my grandmas - Grandma Christine on my mom's side (who is in Heaven) and Grandma Pauline on my daddy's side. I'm perfect in every way (and so humble!)
