Baptismitated

I got baptized!

We went to church and I got to play in the nursery! yay! Then Mommy and Aunt JoJo came and put me into a really pretty dress!

 It's really really really really old.  

Here are some of the people who have worn it:
1887 - great-great-grandpa Starlin (that's a funny name for a boy!)
1912 - great-grandma Mary Jane
1941 - grandma Mary Christine
1976 - mommy Deborah Jane
2010 - me - Christina Pauline

So then mommy and daddy and I went up on the stage!  Except it's called an altar if you're in church.  Aunt Sharon and Uncle Brad came too!

And that guy was talking and it was all good.  Mommy let him hold me, which was fine, I like to meet new people.  But then......you won't believe this - YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS!  HE POURED WATER ON MY HEAD!!!   Can you believe it?  I can't.  But I am a forgiving soul, so I let it go and he and I went for a little walk around the church and I decided he's pretty cool, all things considered.

Then we went out to eat.  And I even got presents.  Which was fun excpet mommy made me wear the bow on my head.

It was such a fun day and I'm so glad my family and friends could come and share it with me. :)
